Title: Diversity Garden
Artists: Rosa Morl & Teresa Leal

When we began thinking about a theme for our piece, two deeply connected and inseparable concepts immediately emerged: Humanity and Love.
These two themes are present throughout the entire piece, expressed through its elements, colours, and selected fabrics, symbolising the unity of humanity.
We are all different, yet we all have a place in this garden, where the tipis stand—dwellings traditionally integrated into nature and associated with communities that respect the natural world and value a strong sense of togetherness. Our piece also includes some figures with more visible differences, who are welcomed and embraced by the others without losing their own identity. They are accepted exactly as they are, without any expectation of becoming the same as the rest of the group.
The figures wearing trousers or skirts simply represent human diversity and are not intended to distinguish between women and men. The cord connecting every person symbolises the love that unites us.
The message of our piece is one of unity, sharing, and belonging through diversity. Through its vibrant colours, we hope it also conveys joy and hope. We would like it to tell the world that humanity is built when everyone has a place, exactly as they are.

Each piece (square) of our installation is born from a shared moment of conversation and creation. Its colors, textures, and shapes reflect the memories, questions, and hopes that its author or collective brought to the installation.
Each of these pieces invites you into a story of belonging. A story that is now part of a collective work in constant growth.
